Xbox One: E3 site indicates own VR headset

There are only two weeks left until the E3, the most important fair for video games, will start in Los Angeles. On the official website now provides a category for excitement: Four developers apparently show games for Virtual Reality on the Xbox One.

The strange thing is that Microsoft has even announced yet not “Xbox One VR”.

So far it is only known that Sony with PlayStation VR wants to bring its own headset on the market, with which we can immerse themselves in virtual worlds. Whether Microsoft and Nintendo are also put on the new technology, we still do not know. but Perhaps could at least Microsoft enter the race. On the official website is in great category “Virtual Reality” and the Xbox One out, including four companies, are listed: Rebellion, Maximum Games, 3DRudder and Readily Infomation.

About the Home of the filter for the Microsoft console is not available. Only on the respective side of it appears. A careful reader of Gaming Age Forums is this strange category now noticed anyway. Whether this means that the rumors of the last week are true and Microsoft actually under the project name Scorpio is working on a technically improved console that Oculus Rift support? In one of the games, it could be to Battlezone VR, which already is the British developer Rebellion for PlayStation VR and Oculus Rift in development.

Microsoft and Oculus VR have worked together in the past. there was for the launch of Oculus Rift in the package for all buyers also a Xbox One controller. Because the regular Xbox One but is itself too weak for Oculus Rift, is it really only the potential new model in question. So it looks as to fit the puzzle pieces all together well. However, it could also be just a bug. If nothing is officially confirmed these rumors should continue to be treated with caution.
