This is what happens when you send Apple the wrong review unit

Think the richest tech company on the planet doesn’t have a sense of humour?

Think again.

Techradar accidentally returned a Dell XPS laptop review sample to Apple (thanks to a courier mixup), who willingly posted the machine to its rightful owner. Only, with a slight modification.

XPS Apple Logo

Stuck over the lid’s Dell logo was a white Apple logo (pictured above), providing a glimpse of what might happen if an XPS 15 and MacBook Pro entered one of the chambers from ‘The Fly’.

Dell’s PR representative took the Mac maker’s cheeky gesture in good faith. They said: “It returned to us rebranded with an Apple logo on it. This isn’t a problem as we can remove the apple logo.

“Also in the box was a number Apple logo stickers.”
