There is not much time for the event announced by Microsoft and devoted to the world of education. An early appointment in the past few weeks, featuring the introduction of a new hardware device with an affiliate software platform.

The Network, however, is already providing important insights into the content of the event and presents, thanks to the ever-informed The Walking Cat, the first images of the Surface Laptop, a Surface laptop that appears, at first glance, as the Reply to Google Chromebook Pixel.

Not just pictures, but also interesting information about the new Microsoft laptop.

According to recent announcements, Surface Laptop will be equipped with a 13.5 ” PixelSense display, presumably with 1080p resolution and 3: 2 aspect ratio, and will be marketed in four colors: platinum, Bordeaux, cobalt blue and gold.

The leaked images also cover the Alcantara-finish keyboard, a material that has already been used for one of the Surface Pro 4 keyboards.

To further clarify the details on the hardware platform, it is not known specifically how the processors will be used, RAM and storage memory.

The images still confirm the presence of a USB port, Mini DisplayPort output, and power connector that does not seem to differ from the one integrated on other Surface devices. On the right side, there is a slot that should match the slots for SD cards.

Surface Laptop should have a weight of just over 1.2 kilograms and a 14.47mm thick in the back, which becomes 9.9mm in the front.

Anima software will be the new version of Microsoft’s desktop operating system, or Windows 10 S, a version of Windows 10 that can only run apps downloaded from the Windows Store.

The information just mentioned has yet to be confirmed officially, but it will take a few hours to wait: appointment at 3:30 pm today (2 May) with the live streaming of the event.
