Star Wars: The Force Awaken characters in natural size created from LEGO

LEGO is preparing intensively for this year’s Toy Fair.

For example, built entirely from LEGO bricks, three life-size statues representing the Finn, Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma from Star Wars: The Force awakens.

They were used more than 80,000 pieces, statues weighing about 180 kilograms in total.

According to the site, Captain Phasma is by far the most complex construction. It has seven centimeters and two meters and took the 37 556 pieces of LEGO that they have assembled 275 hours.

Poe Dameron and Finn are somewhat shorter, with 1.71 and, respectively, 1.75 meters high, and to build each took about 200 hours.

So if you are in New York this weekend, go and visit the Toy Fair.

After we all felt the force in December last year, I learned that day have already started filming Star Wars: Episode VIII and Episode IX went into production.

And this year we will have Star Wars: Rogue One, which will be called, in fact, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
