I think no one is caught by surprise by the news that the Xbox Scorpio, whose definitive name is still unknown, will be shown at the next E3.
In any case, or to clear any doubt about it, the own Phil Spencer has confirmed it again on the Xbox official page.
At the end of an extensive statement in which Spencer reviews the philosophy behind this new project, as well as other details that were officially released last week, we read the following:
“I am proud of the progress we have made with Project Scorpio and what it will mean for creators who nurture the passion of gamers around the world.
On behalf of the entire Xbox team, thank you for your ceaseless passion and support. We are thrilled to be able to unveil Project Scorpio and the amazing gaming experiences it is able to offer at E3 in June.”
We knew that the Xbox Scorpio was going to be the protagonist of the Microsoft conference, but before the first official details of the console were unveiled we were not clear what we were going to be able to see exactly.
According to what Spencer says, it seems that not only will we see the appearance of the console, but also how the games look on it.
The conference will take place on June 11 at 10:00 p.m.
